Understanding complex behavior through the lens of network dynamics. I focus on single neuron input
computations and network dynamics. My experimental experience is in
whole cell patch clamp, optogenetics, calcium
imaging, electrophysiology and animal behaviour.
To scale these experiments, I build custom hardware setups based on Raspberry Pi
for electrophysiology, optogenetics integration, and highly specific behavioral assays. I pair this
with machine vision pipelines for robust, automated behavior analysis.

I am actively involved in both hardware and open-source software development to rapidly prototype
and ship tools that
solve practical scientific problems.
A key example is SynaptiPy, a framework I maintain
for analyzing electrophysiological signals. By prioritizing utility and pragmatism over complex
ceremony, I
keep research workflows moving quickly while maintaining open-source tools for the community.

I help teams integrate rigorous scientific methodologies into their product development loops. From
designing biological experiments to building custom data analysis tools and hardware rigs, I offer
practical, reliable solutions. Focus is strictly on reproducibility, clear signal-to-noise ratios,
and sustainable architectures without any of the hype.
